Shards Online now has a program to reward members of the community for referring others. For every pledge made using your referral link, you will earn 250 loyalty reward points for your account!
Give people your personalized referral link (above) however you’d like. The link takes them to the pledge page. If they proceed through the checkout process with a pledge of 40$ or more, you will be awarded the referral. You can check your referrals on the dashboard as well as how many points you have earned.
Yes! Your User ID is never used for authentication. It is actually intended to be given out for whitelisting on private servers.
Loyalty points are bound to your account which means they can be redeemed on any character on an official server. They will also be completely refunded in the rare case of a server wipe during development. This means the points you earn now will actually get you stuff when the game is in full alpha and even release!
The list of items you can get with loyalty points is small now, but will grow over time. When you log into an official server, you can use the /loyalty command to see the list of items. The first set of items were vanity hats!
