You’re invited to participate in our first Community Roundtable on Friday, June 13 at 8 PM EDT (12 AM GMT). We’ll be broadcasting live on the Shards Online Twitch channel and taking questions via Mumble and the Twitch channel chat. Mumble details will be given in Twitch chat at the start of the broadcast.
Topics for this Community Roundtable:
- What happens after Kickstarter?
- Plans for Steam Greenlight
- Why we won’t ask for funds on our site
- Feedback on our open pre-alpha preview
YES! I can make this one! I will make the effort to be there so I can dominate-I mean contribute to the conversation!
I unfortunately won’t be able to make this one, but I am very interested in hearing your plans for the next steps. Will this be put up on youtube?
We will make sure recordings are available. We know this is a rough hour for our EU fans to participate and hope to alternate times in future roundtable discussions.
That’s 2.00 at night for us Europeans. Obviously not going to be there…
Understood. The next roundtable will be scheduled at a more European friendly time. We promise. 🙂
hi, dont have time to watch twitch can you answer here? 🙂

We are going to post the video to Youtube real soon!
Aww yea!
I participated in the pre-view weekend. It was fun – but yeah, ran out of things pretty quickly to do ;).
Drop me a line if you want to talk to someone besides a fellow dev. I’m part of a multi-game guild with quite a bit of experience in testing and playing myself.
why are you guys not just following bioware’s neverwinter nights 1 model? boware nwn1 already perfected the shards system and customisation via the toolset facility.
I just listend to your whole video and at the end you mention you have about 5 types of clusters/shards. that’s just lame. i do not want that. bioware’s nwn let each shard decide for itself which other shard to connect to. That is the beauty of biowares system and it already beats yours.
sry lost interest after you said that. im looking forward to you changing that.
Good news, we do have that feature! You can check our customization section for more information, but we’ll also be having a Community Roundtable on running a custom Shard and connecting them.
