Greetings, adventurers!
As many of you know, we are preparing to merge all of our US players into a single server. These are the steps that will be taken to make this happen.
Getting Your Characters to Ethereal Moon
If your account has five characters or less:
Once you login for the first time at server select, you will choose Ethereal Moon and will be taken to the character selection screen. Once you select a character, you will be taken to Limbo.
You will be able to leave Limbo right away through a portal to the city of your choice. You must do this for all characters.
If your account has more than five characters:
Once you login for the first time at server select, you will choose Ethereal Moon and will be taken to the character selection screen. Choose a character you DO NOT want to keep. Enter Limbo and speak with Kamus the Stranger, the NPC in front of you.
Engaging with this character will allow you to release all items on your character to this NPC for another character on your account to retrieve later. All players will also receive soulstones for any skills 50 or greater on this character.
You will then be sent back to the Character Selection screen to do this again. Once you have the allowed number of characters for your account type, you will be able to take your remaining characters into Limbo and leave through a portal to the city of your choice. You must do this for all characters. If you are a subscriber, you will have immediate access to all five characters on the login screen. If you are not a subscriber, you will have access to the first four characters – the fifth will be invisible. Be sure to transfer the first four characters you wish to play now first. The fifth character will remain invisible unless you subscribe – then you will have access to them.
Life After Limbo
If you released a character, you can pick up the items from that character next to the Valus Bank, where Kamus the Stranger is waiting for you.
Select the character whose items you wish to claim.
You will then have the option to claim items from that character’s bag and bank, including any soulstones.
Housing
The biggest change made from the last time we attempted to merge comes in the form of how housing works. When you take your character from Limbo to Ethereal Moon, you will have a button on the top right of your screen that allows you to access the Item Storage Management UI.
This popup will include tabs for all plots that you owned on your account, regardless of what server you came from.
With Automatic Restore, you can place your plot exactly as it was. The land you claim will be at the prior land size automatically, and the house will be built, decorated, and stocked exactly as it was.
With Advanced Restore, you will receive a 12×12 plot which is able to be resized for no extra charge up to the size of your old plot. You will then receive a moving crate and can claim all items from that crate, including a housing blueprint (which is pre-filled if your house was already completed on your old server), all your items, and your merchant. You have one week to claim the items from the crate before it is destroyed.
If you select Crate Only, you will receive a crate that contains all the items from that plot. Use this option only if you have exceeded your maximum number of allowed housing and cannot place any additional plots. You will need to own another plot in order to claim this crate. It will appear on that plot. You have one week to claim the items from the crate before it is destroyed.
Note: You cannot repack your house once it has been placed. If you place your plot and release it, you cannot resize for free.
Discover a world forged by players, where your choices write the story. What role will you play?
